Well I haven't written anything in a really long time.. So here goes.

Aleeya, my 26yo arabian, has been adopted by the neighbors for their little 9yo girl to learn how to care for a horse and how to ride on soemthing mellow, before upgrading to a horse with a little more spunk. They're so cute, she goes out into Aleeya's pasture where her swing is and Aleeya comes and takes a nap next to her white she swings in her tree swing. So all in all, she's happy That's all that matters.

Dakota is home and happy. He's roughly 14.3hh and will be turning a year old next month! lol. he's going to be a good sized horse I cant wait. We went on our first walk the other day off the property down my dirt road and he did very well. Oh! and he gets gelded next month ... yipee! XD

Dasha is still in the north west with my mom, and we're slowly but surely working on getting her down here so I can finish her training and get some miles on her. But my mom is loving having her home from the sounds of it but needs to get her down here. If you guys know any decent shippers will you let me know?? or if you happen to be making the move from Washington/Oregon Area and happen to be going through AZ let me know... and maybe we can work something out?

And last but not least, I have adopted a 6yo Appaloosa mare. She's fully trained and is probably about 15hh - 15.1. Not as tall as i'd love to have but not so short my feet drag the ground. Her manners are get, doesn't buck doesn't rear. She's sweet with a little bit of spunk. A friend of mine rescues abused and neglected horses and she was one of her rescues. Ponita is rideable but before she was rescued she was not taken care of properly and ended up with absesses all over her body... well there was one in her eye that has turned into a tumor, and she'll eventually go blind in that eye because of the neglect of treat ment. The vet has been out to look at it, and there is nothing they can honestly do for her. She's not in pain, but she'll lose her sight in that eye, but instead of just taking her eye out, they think it'll be better if it gradually goes away, so that it's not a shock for her. But in anycase, i'll get pictures of her for you gues. She a really pretty red appy. She was supposed to be home today, but it turns out that she'll have to come home in the morning tomorrow. I cant wait


Anyways, I have to get going. OH! I have 2chicks, a duckling and an african gosling.

Athena has given me the world's best Valentines day present! She's gave birth to 8 healthy and beautiful puppies on sunday afternoon.

Well most of you know *that read my journal stuff* that I have 2 horses.. Dasha and Aleeya, and when I moved Dasha stayed with my mom in Oregon. Well, on monday this week, I bought a Qh/Belgian colt. He's a PMU rescue and he's roughly 3months old and is, if not taller, 13hh. He's a red roan.. really purdy. Good legs, conformation and the sweetest face. The only white he has is a large star off to the right side of his forehead.

I haven't come up with a name for him, but as soon as I get some good pictures of him i'll be posting them. Right now he's extremely fuzzy and slowly settling into his new surroundings. He spent 3 to 4 days on a trailer with 20 other horses.

1. I've noticed that whenever someone says, white *instead of grey* when it comes to horse colors, I always have to correct them and explain to them why they're not "white"

2. i'd much rather hang out with my horses than guys. go me. XD
